Run to Rescue

Why do you run? To experience your city? To get away from your day-to-day stresses? To see what you can accomplish?

What if the miles you cover could free a girl in Nepal from slavery? What if running could provide a new business for a discarded slave in Mali? When you Run to Rescue, you do what you love to do, and it equips those in the hardest places to build new lives of freedom and faith.

The average cost to free and empower a woman or girl is one dollar per day. That means every dollar you raise will help move a girl from a life of abuse and exploitation to a life of freedom and faith, with a strong future.

Whether your goal is to run your first 5k or finish an ultra-marathon, the steps you take make an impact. Here is how you can ensure that your miles serve to free and empower at-risk and trafficked women and girls:

  • Plan: Dream up a mileage goal, find a race, or discover a trail.
  • Register: Go to to start your online fundraising page. State your purpose, set a goal and ask for sponsors (My goal is to raise $5,000)
  • Run!
