Financial Accountability

We are dedicated to optimizing financial resources entrusted to SIS, investing them where most needed for the greatest life change.

Our staff continually seeks ways to maximize the impact of funds, while striving to keep administrative costs low. From 2015-2016, 82 percent of the total budget was utilized for programs for girls and women. The effectiveness of our programs has earned the trust and support of thousands: individuals, churches, foundations, and corporations.

We gratefully receive donations as a 501(c) 3 nonprofit approved to provide tax deductible receipts. No goods or services are exchanged for deductible donations.

When an account becomes overfunded or inactive, SIS stewards those funds where most needed. Committed to financial stewardship and accountability, we are governed by a wise board of directors and undergo an annual financial audit by the independent accounting firm, CapinCrouse.

For more details about our finances and the impact they make, view our recent audit results and look at our Life Change Report for 2015.

The chart below shows She Is Safe’s use of ministry funds for 2015-2016, according to our most recent audit. 82% of our funds go directly to our programs. The remaining money is used for fundraising and operating expenses.
